Nike has long been one of the most famous brands of sporting shoes across the globe, regardless of where you happen to live you will have access to their “trainers”. When one thinks of shoes, Nike is one of the first brands that come to mind for males, females, and children.
The brand is known for its suburb fashion sense when it comes to sporting shoes, extreme comfort, and most of all for the excellent support that it offers to your feet, which is why so many professional athletes choose to use Nike for competition. Coincidently, one of the reasons Nike has remained so popular is due to how many athletes it uses to sponsor its collections.
The focus on vibrant colour this year can be widely seen in the women’s collection, with the Nike Zoom Vomero and the Nike Air Mogan Mid iD shoes. Both have a strong purple accent, which is only fitting given that purple is predicted to be the in vogue colour of the later part of 2009 and beginning of 2010. This clearly displays the fashion forward sense that Nike has, even when it comes to sporting shoes, which is something that its competitors often overlook.
This trait carries over into the men’s Nike collection with the new Air Mogan shoe for men, which utilizes patchwork plaid purple as the accent for the sides of the black based shoe.
Outside of purple, one of the largest, most notable, additions to the Nike catalogue this year is the new Air Zoom Cush ID collection, which is made for those who want to be seen in vibrant Technicolor. With some of the lightest shades of colour yet to be seen on a shoe such as lime green, electric blue, and others.
